How to use previous year papers
- Solve one paper under exam conditions. Same time limit, no breaks, negative marking on. This is your baseline score.
- Mark every topic you got wrong. Recurring topics (percentage, coding-decoding, synonyms) are where the easy marks are.
- Fix those topics one by one. Practise each weak topic with answers and explanations until you get most right.
- Take a fresh full mock every week. New questions in the same pattern show whether you have really improved.

Where can I get the SSC CGL previous year question paper with solutions PDF?
The Staff Selection Commission publishes each shift's question paper with its answer key on ssc.gov.in after the exam, usually for a limited time. Download it while it is live. Why are SSC papers shift-wise?
SSC CGL, CHSL and MTS are held in many shifts over several days, and every shift gets a different paper. Marks are then normalised across shifts. That is why you will find several "previous year papers" for the same exam and year — one per shift.
